Elijah is passionate about making a positive impact for kids of color in the Cambridge community.
Elijah Booker is a lifelong Cambridge resident. A graduate of Cambridge Public Schools and a recent graduate of Northeastern University. As a student, Elijah was very involved in his community serving on the executive board of the Northeastern Black Student Association (NBSA) and Student Against Institutional Discrimination (SAID). Throughout his career, he has worked at the Boston Municipal Research Bureau and TripAdvisor. As a research assistant at the Research Bureau, Elijah focused on the economic and political state of the city of Boston and helped contribute to writing monthly articles. During his time at TripAdvisor, he supported the development and implementation of TripAdvisor's global Diversity and Inclusion strategic objectives and initiatives.
Throughout his career, Elijah has sought out opportunities where he could give back to Cambridge youth. He has done several speaking engagements at Cambridge Rindge and Latin and middle schools in the city, where he would give guidance to students of his experience in Cambridge Public Schools and advise on how to approach the college process. Also, he has tutored high school students previously at Cambridge Rindge and Latin.

Starting Friday April 2, 2021 at 6:30pm we will hold space every Friday for men to discuss masculinity, relationships, and the responsibilities connected to navigating these times. We are sons, brothers, cousins, uncles, and fathers and we are stronger together. #itsamovementnotamoment
