In 2014, former President Barack Obama established the My Brother’s Keeper Task Force at the federal level. The MBK Cambridge Task Force is committed to implementing a community-wide and citizen-led strategy to eliminating the gaps faced by boys and young men of color in The City of Cambridge and the Greater Boston Area. Through the engagement of a cross section of stakeholders, we seek to make a pronounced paradigm shift to assist in the liberation of all marginalized people. Through a robust and structured engagement program for boys and young men of color, which includes a series of recommendations identified that are driven by CPSD statistical data to make informed decisions and curricula to address the needs of boys and young men of color in The City of Cambridge.
